These white oak Gothic-arch doors were restored for Zion Church in Pittsburgh. Rather than being built from scratch, the original doors were carefully dismantled and renewed: the failing arched sections were reconstructed, damaged molding was repaired, glass panels were replaced, and the completed doors were reinstalled. Select quarter-sawn oak adds character to the monumental design while preserving its historic presence. This large-scale restoration demonstrates the technical precision required to revive complex architectural woodwork.
